Effective Date: August 26, 2024

This Initial Consultation Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) Yana Tasheva, Membership Number R706097, and the Client (“Client”). By booking or participating in a consultation – whether free or paid – the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.

1. Purpose of the Consultation

The purpose of the consultation is to provide general immigration guidance, answer questions, assess eligibility, and outline potential pathways for immigration to Canada, including but not limited to:

  • study permit options
  • work permit pathways
  • permanent residence programs
  • visitor visa or extensions
  • family sponsorship
  • business or entrepreneur programs
  • other relevant immigration matters

The consultation may include professional advice, preliminary eligibility assessment, and next steps. This Agreement does not create a full representation or retainer relationship.

2. Nature of the Relationship

The consultation is an initial and limited-service interaction.
It does not obligate the RCIC to:

  • prepare or submit applications,
  • communicate with IRCC on the Client’s behalf,
  • represent the Client,
  • or provide ongoing case management.

Full representation requires a separate Retainer Agreement, to be signed and accepted by both parties.

3. Fees

Paid Consultations

The Client agrees to pay the consultation fee as listed on the website or communicated at the time of booking.

Free Consultations

If the consultation is complimentary, the Client acknowledges that the RCIC provides preliminary information only, and this Agreement still applies.

All fees are non-refundable, unless the RCIC cancels or reschedules and the Client cannot attend.

4. Confidentiality

Client information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

  • Regulations and professional obligations.

The RCIC commits to providing accurate, ethical, and honest immigration advice based on the information the Client provides.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • provide complete and truthful information,
  • attend the consultation at the scheduled time,
  • understand that advice is based solely on the information shared during the consultation,
  • acknowledge that immigration decisions are ultimately made by IRCC or other government authorities.

Any misrepresentation (intentional or unintentional) may affect the quality or accuracy of the advice.

7. No Guarantee of Outcome

The RCIC cannot and does not guarantee the approval of any future application or immigration outcome. Decisions are made entirely by government authorities.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
