International Experience Canada 2024

If you’re a citizen of one of the eligible countries, you could qualify for one or more of the following three categories:
1. Working Holiday
With this category, you can apply for an Open Work Permit, allowing you to work for any employer in various locations across Canada. It’s an excellent way to earn money while exploring the country’s diverse landscapes and vibrant cities.
2. Young Professionals
This category requires a job offer from a Canadian employer, where you’ll work for the duration of your work permit. The job must align with your professional development and fall under TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3. TEER 4 jobs are also acceptable if they are in your field of study, provided you submit proof of a post-secondary diploma, certificate, or degree translated into English or French.
3. International Co-op (Internship)
If you’re currently a student at a university or college and are looking to do an internship abroad, this category is for you. You’ll receive an employer-specific work permit to fulfill your educational requirements while gaining valuable international experience.
